I had Dwayne do my stage vi heads, bought some small block items from him for our W5 project, and my cousin had his 440-1 heads done by him. Top notch and I would love to meet him someday. Glad I was on the board when he was.

He was still posting on here and I remember his signature line saying 68 Plymouth stock heads 11.30. At that point I was like is that even possible. That was before I knew his reputation.

Yes I think most of the jokers who helped chase him away are gone now and the atmosphere around here has definitely improved. Perhaps a few customers need to help coax him back.

One more vote for Dwaynes' return to posting. I learned a ton from his posts. Dwayne, I hope you read this- TAKE THE BEST AND LEAVE THE REST! You have helped so many, and there are many more that would love to have your input.

Dwayne has done 2 motors for me and both have performed extremely well.

He truly cares and takes extreme pride in his work....customer "after the sale" support is second to none !

Dwayne, is a very sharp guy,
And his work is second to none.
unfortunely all most all these guys have stopped
coming here. Thats a really sad thing. We used to have interesting topics worth reading.
Porter has dyno 2 engines for me, and worked on all my heads.

If it wasn't for him being on here, I never would have used him and it stinks that others are missing out.......

I made my first connection w/ Dwayne back in 2000 because of Moparts and ten years later he's still getting my $$$ for cylinder head work, valve train components, etc. The Stage VI heads he did for me and his choice of cam have a lot to do w/ how well my 440 Challenger runs. A couple of dyno sessions w/ him were well worth the time, distance & money spent, too.

I just had him do a set of STOCK 906's for me, I'll see how well they run in the spring.

He did the motor in my Belvedere and dynoed it.

Said "yeah, i think it should run 10.30's ,, maybe a bit better"....

I called him from the track on a Saturday,,,to let him know it went 10.12 LOL

Great guy, honest person.

I've been following this post here. I remember reading some of his posts quite some time ago but didn't have the funds to do anything then. But, that does it, I'm sold. He will be getting a call from me to do my Eddy RPM's over the winter.... and probably a cam selection as well.

Dwayne was the first person I called when I was building my new engine. ( 4 yrs ago) Told me how and all that I needed to do on the phone. Sent him my 906's, bought his cam and some other things that I could throw his way.

I called him from the track also, the first time out. Giggling like a school girl that had her dress lifted by the wind.
"WoW, Dwayne you were so right."

3 years later, I called him to talk roller cams. He laughed at me and said, "are you unhappy with the way the car runs?" Me, No.

"Then why F with it. Just run the snot out of it.
You can't go any faster then you are for the class your running any way."

And here I was going to buy all the roller stuff from him. He talked me right out of a sale for him.

That speaks BIG in my book.

He's never been anything but helpful and friendly to me, not just as a customer but as good guy to bounce ideas off of.

I would also vote for a return to Dwayne posting.
Unfortunately my vote doesn't count....the only one that counts is Dwaynes

Only half the individuals who ran him off with stupidity in the name of "fun" are gone. The other half are still here but suddenly have grown up, and what's even funnier I bet they don't even know they did it.

Dwayne fixed my INDY SR heads after I broke my 499. Did a great job, and had them back when promissed. I too miss reading Dwayne posts. Too bad some A-holes have to ruin a good thing for those willing to learn something.
