I've converted the front and rear signal/brake/running lights on my '70 Dart to LED and and installed a digital flasher. The running lights and brake lights work fine and the flashers work fine if the running lights are off. But if I turn the running lights on, the left turn signal gets sluggish and the right won't flash at all. If replace the front signal lights with 1157 incandescent bulbs and leave the digital flasher installed everything works fine. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Try putting in a regular-style, heavy-duty flasher and try it with all your LED's installed.

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

I have several OEM type flashers around. How do you identify a "heavy-duty" flasher?

Remove and reinstall the led's sounds like one of them is in wrong. Easy to do in our old sockets. Could be in at an angle causing cross current.

Do they work right when the key is in the ON postion and the engine not running. Sometimes when the engine is running the leds' don't like much more then 12volts and you have to install a load level "resistor"

Actually, they'll flash when the key is in the on the position and the engine is off and the running lights are off. If I then turn the running lights on, they won't flash. If I start the engine and have the running lights on the left side will flash and it will flash a little faster if I rev the motor. That makes no sense to me as I didn't think LEDs were that voltage sensitive.
