monoptn OP mopar addict Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 890 Clarksville, Tennessee	I've got a 2000 Ram 1500 with a 5.9, and the motor is surging at idle. Plugs and wires are good and new, so I'm thinking MAP sensor or TPS sensor. Any good way to check parts at home, or should I just start replacing sensors? At idle, it ranges from 500 to 1500 rpms, then bounces back and forth. If I rev the motor up, it usually settles back down and then idles smoothly at about 900 for a while. Any help is appreciated.
