Well I've been getting a few packages the past month or so from the Big Brown Truck. I bought a '65 dart about a year and a half ago and am now finally getting started on doing something with it.

For now it's going to get a warmed up 360 stock stroke .030 over KB hyper pistons, stock crank, K1 H-beams, M1 single plane, iron heads (2.02 intakes installed and home ported/pollished) cam is a comp hyd. 251/257 @.050 .564"intake/.564" exhaust
advertise duration 295int/307exh.
lobe separation 110*

10-10.5 compression (havent ruled out E-85 yet)

Headers.

3500 or so stall converter with 4.10 or 4.56 gears in an 8.75 rear.

It's going to be a street strip car that wont see any high mileage trips. My plans are to get it up and running and mechanically sound and hopefully next winter start getting the body and interior work done along with a cage etc. Then I can start saving for the real engine

Now I just have to find time to drag all the junk to the machine shop. I'm headed out to do inspection work on a Nuclear Power Plant for a few weeks so most likely I wont get a chance to get the parts and pieces there until the begining of Nov.

I'd also like to thank my father (quickd100) for helping me with all this and lending/donating some parts and his time building and blueprinting the engine along with fabricating to make things fit in an early A-body. Without his help this wouldnt be possible without spending big money.

Bill

If the heads turn out half decent I'd hope it will run high 11's with this setup.

The next engine that gets built I'd like to see it run low 10's. Which will most likely be a 408 stroker since I'd have to upgrade the crank anyways. I'd really like to run forced induction but we will see what happens when that day comes.
