Was going to order some from Summit and to my suprise there's like 30 different types. Some SFI approved and some not anywhere from 4.00/3ft pc. to 45.00/pc. This is on my 10 sec. Cuda street/strip car. Does this stuff have to be SFI certified? What are you guys using?

I have the cheap stuff on my car. As far as I know, you only "need" it around your helmet area (upper bar and the side post left of your head).
67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....

Roll bar must be padded anywhere driver’s helmet may contact it while in driving position. Adequate padding must have minimum 1/4-inch compression or meet SFI Spec 45.1. All cars running 180 mph or faster, SFI Spec 45.1 mandatory.
Thanks for the reference. I don't think I'll have to worry about the MPH limit LOL, so I'll go with something economical and give me the required cushing.
