Hey just thought I would let everyone know I made it out after the torque flite explosion.First 2 passes in the car with Turbo 400.Same motor pump gas, street tires.I did not put the muffs or air pan on just wanted some seat time and to see how my foot and ankle would do.Watch and let me know what you think!Like I said have not made a full pass in 3 years.First pass of 08 bang over till now.Notice the R/T I am happy with both passes.Took it easy on the first and a little harder on the second.Enjoy and thanks for the help everyone

Did the TH-400 go in pretty easy?

Any big mods to report during the installation?

Looks good, my car as well have a Turbo-400 in it. Hate to say it, but it works flawlessly. Car is down to 10.15@129. Havent touched the trans in years. Not much of a change over, just modified the trans tunnel and cross member a bit. See ya, Ken

went pretty smooth since the tunnel was trash after the torque flite exploded, just made a new tunnel
aside from the tunnel just new drive shaft, JW ultra ball, shifter, tube cross member, and a new ring and pinion.no

talk about smooth the thing shift well and the gearing is about the same in both.
I opted for the 32 ele. sprag, torington bearings, and the usual parts.

The car used to run 10 teens in the heat with muffs on it but I just wanted a little seat time so I am very pleased with the turbo 400.
I went with the same converter that was built for the torque flite for the turbo(new one built)
The cost of course was more to buy all new and convert everything but I will say it was worth it.No more 727's for me
