Well I compared a Pro Systems 1000 to a 1050 dommy. The dommy is stock jetting and the Pro Systems has taking me all summer to get where it's at. The pro systems ran a 10.95 to the dommy 10.99 with both running same mph 123. I ran the p.s. with an airpan and the dommy without, but I thought the dommy would outproform the p.s. and maybe with some tuning it would but time was short so I only made 2 runs with each. Just passing this along to go along with post about 950 to 1050. EDDIE B

So whats the next step? BTW, is that a stock Holley Dominator or a cutom built one? If it's a stock Holley which List(part) number including the dash # is it? Some Holley 1050 Dominator part number carbs work better than other ones do I have done back to back testing within twenty minutes of each run on two differnt stock Holley 1050 Dominators, non HP 8896 versus stock non HP 9375 and saw right at .003 and 1/4 MPH differences, A, B,A tessting. The 9375 was faster and quicker, both where stock with all the stock parts, jetting and squirters I had treid jetting the 9375 up and own one jet size from stock and that car slowed down both ways, I did not try that on the 8896, I sold it instead

Sounds like the Dominator will be quicker with tuning and an air pan.

In my experience, a sealed air pan is worth a 10th or up to .15.
