I am planning to put my car on jack stands to prevent flat spotting on my Bias Ply's. Where do you guys recommend the best spots to put the jack stands are? Under the axles and K-member or under the frame?


I don't have any other rims to put on the car for the winter-we just moved across the country and I had to leave most of my parts back in the hands of friends.

On the sub frames works well in front and under the rear axle in the rear.

if i cant find som old roll arounds i use the axils in back and the frame in front.

A arms you should not let them hang.
..keep them loaded

I'd put the stands under the suspension (rear end and LCS's) so everything is under compresson , nothing is hanging.

This simulates how the car would normally sit, just with the wheels off the ground.

I always used the suspension points for long term storage....surprised at the "let it hang" opinions.
