polkat OP mopar addict P Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,202 California	440 was apart when I bought it. The main caps are numbered 1 to 5 as usual, but there is no arrow to orientate them. I seem to remember that the bearing shell tabs should be on the same side for both rods and mains. Is that right?

pishta super stock P Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 893 Tustin, CA	they are numbered, just make the numbers read correctly in relation to the number orientation of the main seal cap. IIRC, the numbers face correctly if you are looking at the inverted block on a stand with the cam gear on your left.
