Fellas -

Have a 68 Roadrunner with the flat black Performance Hood Treatment. Hood is about to be painted. Paint guy uses PPG products. Is there a code or formula paint that he should be using?

The orignal stuff no longer exists, but ppg has a newer version that people have been using instead.

We used Hot Rod Black for my hood. It may not be 100% correct but it looks really nice.

I just did my 68 RR hood in DCC 9355.
That is single stage concept.
I had a pint mixed and didnt use it all.
Two normal coats and a third coat using a lot of reducer...to blend in the surface texture...
