Is that an Indy intake your using and have you cut down the plenum were the carb sits on? Reason I ask is that I have an Indy on my eng and am going blow through but am having trouble trying to keep it as low as I can to run a low scoop. Also wondering if I did cut the plenum down will it hurt air flow? I don't belive it would as it is forced in but would like someones thought on this. Thanks Cheers gg4088 ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)

Yes it is an Indy intake that I stuck on a mill and took rougly 1-1/4" as far as I can remember...it leaves a strange shape on entering the plenum though (no longer square, kind of starry shaped)....I am not as concerned though with the EFI....to me blowthrough would be a different animal...I don't think I would cut it. If you did, you would probably need to do a lot of blending or consult with Ryan on here and see what he thinks. I believe an inch or less would keep the plenum square.
My Indy after cutting is the same height as my old 340 victor with a 1" spacer
The heads are Indy 230cc 360-2 finish prepped by Ryan at Shady Dell....the block is a Mopar Resto-block...cam is Bullet solid flat tappet 259/255 .630 lift at 1.6 114 cenerline installed at 112 using smith machine composte lifters with 225 closed 450 open. Indy 1.6 rockers, smith bros 3/8 pushrods
