due to a bonehead mistake i broke the pull handle off of my oil dipstick and only way i can get broken part out of the tube is to take tube out of where it goes into the oil pan any help thanks

...What I was getting at is, I was wondering if one of those (don't know its proper name) long reach 3 finger grippers that has a body like a choke cable, that could "maybe" grip hard enough to pull it out.
...I looked over at snap-on and didnt find but didnt know its proper name either.

about 2" thanks no it is broke with a little of the yellow hard plastic on it, i thought about trying to jb weld a piece of plastic coat hanger on it and try to pull it out that way

...Have you tried a needle nose pliers or needle nose vice grip's would be better.

...Can you make a (small diameter wire) wire loop to go down below the yellow piece of plastic that's left and pull it out,(depending on how good the yellow piece is still clamped to the stick.
