Hey Guys,

My 1970 6 pack charger is an original V21 performance hood treatment car, but... all the info I see out there says this was a hood "black out" my question is, did it also come in white ??
The car is an original ev2, with white vinyl, white stripe, and salt and peper cloth interior... I can't see it with a blacked out hood and all that white!!!
Also my interior code is C5XA then it's followed by a TX9 does that mean the seats were salt n pepper but the rest was black...

any info is appreciated...

Never offered anything but black to my knowledge, but never say never in the Mopar world. One of my 70's has the black.

Yes, V21 performance hood treatment is always "black", organisol I believe.
Black & Charcoal interior with salt and peper cloth inserts - C5XA
Followed by TX9 the Upper Door Frame (UDF) paint "black" - (the interior side of the door jamb).

Black only on the Charger,...engine call outs were optional as well, 440 or HEMI inside the black out,...IIRC they were reflective silver only,...although the aftermarket offers them in black red, white and silver

yeah, this one I'm doing as correct as possible since it's a #'s six pack, A34 with power windows also... I think it's a "one off" by way of options...
Am I correct that the interior color for the rest of the panels is actually called charcoal and not black... as black wasn't an option for a 70 charger?

V21 is the code for the performance hood treatment. Black was the only color available. The callout decals were V24. If I remember they were offered in black, white, reflective white, and red.

speaking of what is the correct placement for the 440 "call outs"? I have seen "unrestored" cars that have them close to the sides and "factory correct" closer too the middle?

Not an EV2 car but it is one with a white top and white stripe. It has the V24 treatment so maybe the callouts help.
