Thanks everybody! It nice having so much support from this board, it`s good for the class and keeps Dad and I moving foward.

Yes, the car has a harness, roll bar, etc. Everything is blended in to look as tasteful as possible. I`ve had people standing right by the door ask me how we run that fast with no bar. That`s the point of the class. Safty items are allowed in FAST.

Thanks. And congratulations. I saw your car at the Nat's. Very nice. I also did not see the bar, but then again it was +100* and I did poke head in to look that close.

already PROBABLY been done, but having heavier wheels may help in stabilizing a car at those high speeds where as an Aluminum wheel may be too light and create under steer or over steer.
Kind of like too light of a car in a wind storm may actually lose traction and get air borne.

Hey PettyBlue...just caught your post....I am looking into a early b-body or a 69 b-body that i can utilize the six pack set up. you see, in F.A.S.t. I must utilize what was available on the car from the factory, and unless I go Hemi.....I need to change bodies....Here is a link to my current car....4100 lbs......Darrell
