I'm trying to get to the ignition system in my 75 duster, I have the steering wheel taken off and can't figure out how to get the cover off to get to the wiring. I'm stuck at the wheel locking mechanism. Can anyone help me? -James

You need strong fingers or a lock plate tool.Look at the shaft and you will see a small clip around it.The plate has to be pushed down and that clip removed.I used to be able to use my thumbs while my son worked the clip off.Rocky
