Yes, the regulator is inside the case & get it's "sense" voltage reading from the batt output terminal as opposed to std Mopar having a seperate field circuit w the 1 or 2 terminals on the alt w a seperate reg. Read something way back that it wasn't as good or something as getting an actual voltage reading of (near) batt voltage from the seperate field circuit but didn't pay any attention at the time as I didn't think I'd ever run one (haven't yet). EDIT Hell I missed that it had been deleted

In my mind... if you run a tiny alternator lead, it may drop a little voltage and be under-voltage at the 'main junction'.

If you run a big enough lead (6-8awg I'd SWAG), you should be just fine.


If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
