Although I have been generally pleased with their parts so far, my machinist said he didn't like the way they cut when line-boring... said it may be a different alloy than all the other steel caps he's done. We used them, but I'll likely go aluminum next time.

Make sure you dummy the oil pan on before you button things up. I bought one of the first sets and it set to high and the oil pan or rear main seal retainer hit on #5 main. Not a big deal as my friend milled some off and all was good. I am sure this problem has been addressed but good to check ahead of time.

Hi,
I used the steel one's on an rb motor with no problems. they are finished for 400 size so machine shop had to cut a bit , but he didn't complain, so far so good. this is on a 10.30 car.

Went through the same thing with their caps. Had to modify pan so caps/studs would clear. Caps didn't fit real well. Had to hand fit caps to registers and then my machinist said they "cut funny" like was said. I used them, and all assembled OK. Motor has not gotten to track yet, but no problems have shown up with local thrashing.
