ok,i just swapped to big bolt disks on the duster, ive replaced both inner and outer tie rods, but the angle on the outer tie rod looks a little steep to me.do i need the center link and idler, pitman arms from a 73 up car too,or is this normal?

Good question. I've heard both answers from experts in the business. I guess the simple answer is no, you do not need to run the 73+ steering linkage.

The more complicated answer is that the 73+ linkage will probably give you a little better bump and maybe more clearance for the pan.

I think you have to look at the up and down position of the center of the outer tie rod ball joint in relation to the steering box output.

You have to ignore which way the ball joint taper points.

FWIW I've run 73-76 steering box/pitman/idler/centerlink on a 68-72 K-member then run the same exact setup on a 73-76 K-member.

I've got my 68-72 out on loan or I'd compare pictures/measure to t 73-76 centerlink.
