WOW....these guys never cease to amaze me on how they can continue to improve their et's given such a MASSIVE traction handicap for the power they make. I'm sure that I'm not that much different from most guys that the harder I try to improve my launch the harder the car spins so my hat's off to these guys for their amazing cars and driving abilities There is certainly no doubt we will see a 9 sec pass out of a black Road Runner yet - Congrats Dave!

James Cook goes 11.04 @ 126
Edward Cook goes 11.06 @ 125
Boy if that pair went head to head and those were the numbers that would have been a heck of a race to watch!
Scott they went head to head in the last round before elimantions. Eddie went faster but James took him. James has the experience and the stick shift Eddie has a little more smoke but has less then 10 passes in the car. The famialy competions should get a little heated for the next race!
Dave congratulations you deserve it.

9.99 you're supposed to have a full cage.....window net.....diaper.....and on and on.......
How about the trunk pops open and then the chute pops out???
If that's the case then there will be only 1 9.xx pass before the track shuts the racer down.
maybe they can go to the NHRA new Pro class format and only run 1000ft. ?

Congrats to Dave for another win and hats off to everyone involved. It was a lot of fun to see it. Had some issues with a new 6 pack build I just finished that couldn't be worked out in time. We will get it going for the next event. It was a highlight to see the Cook kids go at it and get it done. James, to run those times with that "low effort" build and a 4 speed without a trick clutch on those tires.... MB
