And that's exactly one of the several reasons why '69 RR's bring considerably less than GTX's.
RR69s
They do?
I think they are pretty close. When equipped with the same motor (Hemi) the 68 and 69 RR's are the same price or more. 70 Hemi GTX will bring more than 70 Hemi RR. I wonder how considerable that amount is though.

Is THIS the only place on Earth selling '69 GTX trunk bezels? $675 seems kind of... ridiculous.
That is Metro Parts Co. and as far as I know they are the only repos as of now. If you contact them directly it may be cheaper as no ebay fees. Their # is 912 383 0172.

The hemi variant doesn't define ALL GTX's and RR's considering they were only a tiny % of total production. The GTX fetches considerably more than a 383 RR. That covers over 95% of the cars made. And I personally would prefer a 68/69/70 hemi GTX over a RR if similarly optioned. I'd be surprised if the 68/69 RR hemi's brought more but maybe not the 70. I'd be happy to pay more for the GTX's. Just my personal preference.

In 1979 I was collecting parts for my 69 GTX as I knew I would restore the car someday, I went to the dealer to try and find a finish panel, the guy looked it up and said I can only find one and its in a Chicago warehouse and its $45, do you want it ? it looks as good today as it did then, I also ordered headlight and taillight bezels and a Grill and body side trim that day
I worked at THAT parts warehouse back in 1979 for about 6 weeks - filling-in for regular workers on vacations. (It was located on Busse Road just North of Bensenville). At the time, I had a '73 RR & a '70 Cuda 340, so I was very interested in the performance parts I saw in the warehouse. If any of you are from the Chicago area, you'll remember this building with the gold-windowed offices up front - it was on the NW side of an intersection. The large warehouse was in back. We had all kinds of black E-coat '71 Cuda fenders - I remember them well. I also vividly remember a '71-2 Charger Ramcharger hood that was leaning against a large box back in the sheetmetal area - it was kind of beat up. I went up front one day before my shift & met with a "parts specifier" to search for some unique items in the system. I had him look up Cuda shaker hoods. There was a parts depot in TX. that had 8 of them showing in inventory - those were the only ones left in the country - my price was $300.00/ea. I also had him look-up the Cuda elastomeric bumpers & there were ZERO of them anywhere. I have some cool old memories from the era.

I worked in Schaumburg for 18 years and would see that warehouse almost everyday. When the Pentastar came down I was
