I purchased a max wedge hood scoop/holes template kit from hemieddy, and need cut the holes in the hood of my '64 Plymouth Savoy.

How would you recommend cutting the 2 large holes, so that they are nice clean cuts and perfectly round?

If anyone has done this before, and has some good advice, please let me know. Some photos would be great also. Thanks.

I bought a circle cutter at ACE Hardware. It came in a 6 x 6 inch or so cardbaord box that was yellow and black. I went out to the garage to get the name of it and the specifics, but recently "reorganized" my garage, so of course I can't find it. I will more tommorrow. It clamped in a drill or a drill press and was adjustable to any size hole. Can't remember how big it went. At least this will help you on your search, I hope.

we used a small p-grinder to cut the ribs off and then traced out the holes from the template and drilled a small hole along the circle and used a p-saw, but on my 62 i plan to use a 6' hole saw.
