106 250 A/SA Don Garlits, Ocala FL, '09 Challenger 10.272 11.00 -0.728
He's got it in the field....there is a couple of DP's quicker...Atwell has gone 10.07, Duell a 10.14 and someone else a .19....I want to see the old man go a few rounds.

'I can see the HP refactoring or added weight coming after Indy' Yeah, Fred, they might get hammered. But, they seem to be leaving those CJ's alone...one of them went 8.64 something in SS/AA today, there isn't a naturally aspirated 65 Hemi B body or ZL-1 Vette that can run anywhere close to that. The closest Vette is Armstrong at around 8.90 something, and the closest A990 is at 9.03. Those CJ's will wade through class elims. You don't think that NHRA is playing that political game again, do you?? ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Tony Depillo has had the Honkin Hemi '64 Plymouth in the 8.9's.
