My wifes Nitro"s(2007 with 60,000 miles) AC will not get cold when you get into the car when its first started each day or when cold. After it runs for 5 minutes or 5 or 6 miles,if you turn the car OFF and restart,it works fine.If you just try to turn it on and off when the car is running, nothing changes.Kind of a wierd deal. Thanks for any input before I take it to the dealer.

There are a couple of TSB`s involving that, depending on which engine it is:

18-027-08 for 3.7
24-001-08 for 4.0

Have a dealer check for these, it involves a PCM flash.
