as long as you got the lines to handle the oil pressure at the hook ups

dont see why not

I look for them on the cop car dippys/furys with sb to rob the line hook ups and cooler

you have got me to looking at adding it to my 440 now...

thanks..

oh..got me to wanting the 413 like yous down the road for the odd ball look under the hood now

that can go in my stepside when the 440 trucks done

keep us post on it and how you do it

need some pics of the hook ups

here' a thought on the oil cooler. i plan to run it from the sender port on my 413, which has 2 sender ports, by the way. one for temp, the other for press. this may only be on the industrial, not sure.

Both of the ports at the back of the block are pressure, not temperature.

anyway, run from one of them to the cooler, and then i need to run it to a drain rail (think like a septic leach line) on the under side of the valley pan.

What you then have is a wide open leak which would drop the oil pressure.

would the sb block be the same open leak and drop the oil pressure also?

seen the same #LBS on the gauge with and with out the cooler on my sb cop motor swap

it went fom the galley right straight up from the pump to dump right back in thru the hollow FP bolt

unless the small hole was the restriction to hold pressure up
