Nice work Matt on getting your NHRA license last night! Now I guess it's time to make that chassis legal to 7.50! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif) Stay tuned, I have video footage to upload a bit later today. -Kenny

It is true the thing is making a boat load of power, but honestly, street manners wise, it is a mild enjoyable ride. It cruises the street with much better manners than my N/A small block car.
But yes, when the car is in full boost, there is nothing mild about it LOL

Okay, okay, spinning the tires at 140 mph is one step up from mild. I 'll give you that. The car gives new meaning to stealth. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/apimp.gif)

Here is some video footage! Nice HALF TRACK pass on your third run MATT! hahaha. Some of the track officials were a little ticked off at that one... Sorry some of the times are cut off at the end of the passes, there was another car licensing at the same time and I was a little nervous when he was doing his burnouts behind me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06_DCiHfb_g

It sure moves to the right pretty hard...... ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)
I've never seen a track with an automatic gate behind the burnout box before....
Yeah, this was the first outing to the track with the 4 link, There is some chassis tuning to do still for sure.
Those hydraulic gates are handy, However, you have to pay attention! I almost got round housed by one when I walked by, those thing fly pretty quick some times! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif)

Thanks Kenny for the vids!
The car needs an anti roll bar pretty bad, I tried preloading the top right bar but didn't seem to do much at all. When you have ran a car with drag radials breaking loose pedaling the car all the way down the track, pulling a little right is nothing.
My 2nd last run I put the boost at 12 lbs, it ran a 8.4 @ 161 with a 1.26 60 foot with 130 at the 1/8th. Track was starting to cool down just a bit.
The last run I had the boost up to 15 lbs but the track was quite cold. It ran a 8.3 @ 163 with some drifting up top. I think the car has a solid 7 in it on pump gas when I get a new intercooler since I haven't been running the one on it because it leaks.
The engine is a pump gas 572 with victor 440 heads and a 114mm turbo. 3550~ Lbs race weight.

Great job on the car ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) Makes me wonder if I should change my plans and go bigger. Ive been planning on a 500CI EFI (New Holley EFI maybe) pump gas motor with a 91 or 98mm turbo to go into a 87 Dakota that I would like to run low 9's maybe a high 8's as it will only be legal for 8.50s. I also plan on driving this thing on the street so it will have to have fairly good manners. Are you running an aluminum block?

That reminds me, I have a video of the car a few years ago on cal-tracs and radials
