I have a very nice vinyl bucket seat that was stored in an old musty storage building and it reeks badly of must. I have tried everything to get the smell out but nothing works. I have tried wiping it down with bleach, Febreeze, etc. but it does no good because the odor is deep inside the foam. I tried covering with a plastic bag and an open pan of vinegar. I have even left it sit in my garage to air out for one year. Any suggestions other than replacing the foam?

I've had good results with this stuff:

Or leaving the foam out in sunlight might help.

If you pull the covers and foam off, you could try squishing the foam in a tub of bleach and water, then wring em out and let them dry. Then re dunk them in clean water to get rid of the bleach smell.
