Had front end alignment done on my duster,had them go thru everything--looked under car when i got it home and the torsion bar adjusting bolts are at different thread depths the driver side screwed in further than the passenger?? are they supposed to be equal????? Thanks Steve--yes I had then adjust the ride height and yes they are a mopar shop

As long as the ride is right and side to side is ok.The bolt depth is nothing to be worried about.almost never, are they the same.

As noted the adjusters are seldom if ever equal. The reason is easily understood if you look at the rear "T" bar anchors in the crossmember. The anchors are cylindrical units that are welded [ not always very well ] into holes in the crossmember. Seldom if ever are both of them "clocked" the same. If they were "clocked" equally then assuming that neither of the "T" bars has sagged the adjuster bolts would screw in equally for a given ride height.

i would not worry about it, typically i set the d/s torsion a little higher on the d/s to hepl with driver weight.
