Anybody ever have an experience with USA Motor Supply? Great prices. I want to replace my 318 with a spun bearing with a 360 and these seem like the way to go for price.

Any other good companies with good prices?

Thanks!

Finally a HUSKER again
From my Experiance in the dealership, Gopher is about the BEST reman engine on the market. Ive visited their shop, and they DONT cut corners. They accually use torque wrenches, and have GOOD machine equiptment. I went through a companies shop here in nebraska, I wont name any names, but I accually say guys using butterfly impacts on rods and mains, and they used a 1/4" air ratchet for the intake manifolds. I only saw 2 tech using torque wrenches. Made my head spinn.

I don't know if Jasper Engines are available in your area but they are quality and have a good warranty. For the money though, have a local machine shop build it for you.

My advice on crate engines is: stay away. Why would you buy a motor that you have no idea who did the machine work, or what components are inside. AND, you'll pay more for it than if you spec your own components and have a reputable machine shop build it. Do yourself a favor, do a little research, find a good local machinist, and take his advice on anything you don't know for sure. Research parts and combo's here on moparts, or on other boards. You'll be so much happier knowing exactly what is in your motor and why.

I know of a really nice 360 for sale. I just replaced this 360 with a new 427 inch small block so the 360 is for sale. Nice running motor with low miles. The owner hasn't even put in the for sale section yet. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and I'll put you in contact with the owner.

Have your checked out pawinc.com? PAW has been around since the beginning of time and I haven't heard anything bad about them...
