I'm looking to put 18" Foose Nitrous wheels on a 74 Challenger. What are the widest tires that will fit if it is lowered 2" front and rear. The car has the rear leafs moved inboard with the Mopar kit as well. Anybody tried a 315 rear tire? Also, anybody have exact backspacing, offset, etc. that would work? Most websites try to put a 15" wheel on the car or a stock width wheel. Thanks for the help!

I have 9" rims, could have fit 10" with no problem. 315's might be tight with the Mopar relo kit. It only gives you 0.75" inward I believe.

Thanks for the info! About to score some BOSS 338's instead of the Foose wheels. Too darn expensive!

I have 9.5" rims, 19" diameter so no tire balooning, with 275 tires. That was fitted with springs in OEM position. I now have the lower Street Lynx rod instead of the spring, which would be good for another inch almost, probably similar to moving the springs inboard. 305 certainly, 315 maybe. It all depends on tire section width.
Above 17" should not be a problem, tire width is very close to tread width.

Don't take measurements from other people, measure your own car and be sure to do both sides. I did not have the same clearance on both sides, until I installed the street-lynx and really centered the rear-end.
