I ran Jr/Stock and Nostaglia ET (NET) last Friday (8/13/10) at Beaver Springs. It was a great night, a great show, and I got to the semis in NET and won Jr/Stock for the 3rd race in a row. The Dart ran low 11.50s all night (unless I had the competitor covered and I wobbled the load pedal at bit at the finishline) and I was really on the tree. Here is a video of 3rd round of Jr/Stock. The guy in the Falcon was dead late on the tree so I had a ton to play with at the finish line. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJI-j3HJQ6YThanks, Chris

Ditto what Kyle said.
He's having a pretty decent year...again, another great event. You've got to tip your cap to Craig Baumer, though...he's won this three times in a row, and it's no accident. He's very good, and the "Thanks Mom" Plymouth is a good car. I thought Kyle had him, but.....
Great job, everybody. Even went a couple of rounds myself....had a blast. Doug, it was good to see you!!

Yeah, somebody (not to mention any names ) was rushing and forgot the hood pins... In all fairness to him, the flyer said pits opened at 4:00, time trials at 6:30, but when we got there at 4:30 they were already running NSS. Luckily, the hood came down like a parachute and landed right-side-up.

Craig Baumer was super impressive. He parked right next to me and he just kept going rounds. He deep staged all night and was just killing everybody on the tree. He is the man!

Steve, Kyle as always great to see you. I was getting nervous in the final round. I was down in the burnout box and they kept calling Kyle' name and Im looking looking for a red NSS Mopar to appear and its nowhere to be found. All of a sudden it comes around the corner. I was glad Beaver Bob had some patience. Luckily the car in front of you had an oil leak which prolonged your final round. That white Dart of I think Chris's ? is real tough. He did real well there last year if Im not mistaken. Kyle does quite well on Flashback Friday too. Isnt that 2 final round appearances there back to back for Flashback and Kyle? Since "thanks mom" won it last year then that was a repeat NSS final of last year ?? Regardless, a 3-peat for "thanks mom" unbelievable !!! Steve, you went a couple rounds, Ronnie went 3 rounds I think and my nephew made it to the semis. Unfortunately the Savoy broke the rearend in a wheel stand 2nd round. Kevin, I dont know how but I missed the disappearing hood trick. Oh and BTW....remember what the Ford kid Jay Zelco said before the race...during his on track interview over the intercom..... "were gonna take these Mopars out" I know its all in good fun but I saw an NSS all Mopar final. Doug

Doug i knew they were calling for me but somebody saw the cleanup going on and said i had time, so i stopped for fuel and such. Car would have ran a .69 on the last pass so i figured a bunch of fuel would have slowed it down, but it ran a 66 (would have run a 63-64 all out). Kudos to Craig though, he's a tough customer. Last year my starter kicked the bucket friday night and you and Bob came to the rescue so i could have a good saturday! I will say Kevin's disappearing hood act was impressive, but man it didnt take them guys long to have it back on the track! I wondered what happed to Bob's car, thats a for real bummer, he can't catch a break this year. As for Jay in the 1st round, looking at our RT's neither one of us wanted that race but his car hooked and he was on for the ride! Jay's a super nice guy and always a good guy to run, win or lose, and a tough racer as well. I will say what a great group of guys to run with, it's always fun.
