Nice looking Bracket, A friend of mine could do with something like that!

I am going to order one, my pump showed up, I also need a 3/4npt block off plug. Called, and no answer. I will try later, but I might have a work around plan in place where I don't need one.

When I called I left a message and he called me back pretty quick.

Got one on the way....My temporary plan did not unfold the way I was hoping. The pump is on, but I gots work to do, and the hot rod will be down a day or two....Should have it running Friday. I wonder if an electric pump will add upt to any change in et?

Did your brackets show up? I really wish I could have helped Bob put together a more finished kit, with the lower crank pulley, spacers, alternator and even a belt and the bolts. Not having that stuff kinda makes for a hell of a time getting it all together and finished. Hope it works out well for you guys.

I did get mine, but because I bought a Proform water pump from mancini, as well as one of their smaller alternators, nothing fit. Luckily, I have become rather acustomed to doing a lot of fabricating to get things to work on all my darn cars/trucks. I made the spacers at work, and used the slider that allows you to adjust the tension on the belt from the mancini kit. I am affraid though, there isn't much left of the bracket I recieved, but it did help.

Mine came within 4 days of ordering it. It will be a month or so before I get to try it out but I am not worried about having to adapt anything. Its lightyears nicer than the bracket I was using. That bracket was so bad I tossed it when I pulled the motor so I wouldn't be tempted to use it again.

Got mine installed today. It uses a delco cs130 alternator I got one from a 91 Buick century it's 105 amps and looks exactly like the powermaster pictured with the bracket. It took 3 wires to hook up and works great. 14.4 volts at idle with a 5 inch crank pulley running msd, elec fan, water pump, and fuel pump. I will post a picture in a few minutes.

I made my own using a Denso alternator off a Bobcat. Not a great pic but you get the idea.

Here is a picture. I didn't have to use a spacer on the crank pulley but I believe its from the fluid dampner bieng thicker than a stock piece, if it wasn't it would have needed a spacer for sure. Thanks Sloan/Punk for pushing this through its alot nicer than I could have produced for sure.



This was the finishing touches on my electrical system remodel. I eliminated the ameter and all factory wiring that didn't have to do with lights or wipers. My starter relay is in the trunk with the battery now also. Sure cleans up stuff under the hood. My wiring before looked like the scrap bin at an electrical supply! I got lots of ideas of of this site so thanks to those that contribute there projects on here.
