I have a 727 out of a C B0dy Chrysler New Yorker. What would be the stall on the stock converter for this tranny? It also was behind a 440 engine. I was curious what stall a HP 727 had out of a GTX,RR, Charger with a 440 magnum. And what can I get to bring this 727 I have to life as I will be installing a 3.91 gear soon. My current engine build is a 440 bored.030 over with 906 Heads that had a 3 angle valve job and hardened seats done and the Lunati 60302 cam and holley 750 dual line VS carb.......

Depends on the year, a pre-'75 11 3/4" converter would stall in the 2000-2300 range behind a 440; a '75 or later with a 10 3/4" would be in the 2500-2800 range.

These are the '69 factory stall speed specs, '70 is the same.
