Went out to get fuel for the Challenger to take to Nats and when i turn my headlights on nothing. I did however get all my running lights and dash lights. What could be the problem? I was thinking a headlight switch but not sure. Please let me know! Thanks, Steve ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

You checked the fuses, did you?
Do you have original wiring or any upgrades such as relays for headlight?
After all these years having a 440 I realized that this means having an attitude... and a budget.

I had similiar problem, turned out to be the dimmer switch.
Same here, happened to me a while back at night, the dimmer switch connector was halfway off, and I had absolutely NO lights in the car.

Another vote for the dimmer switch or bulbs.

Test both sides of the fuse contacts in the fuse box with a test light. I had rust that needed to be cleaned up to make continuity. Jiggling the switch and stuff like that is just making a feedback situation that leads to false conclusions about needing a headlight switch.
Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen!
Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!
