I`m sure someone will chime w/the answer. Don`t really see the point of those unless like in your case, a p-rod breaks which is rare. If our rollers let go well, you know the story there as everything`s below the screen...........

I've purchased screen from Mcmaster-Carr and used JB Weld for epoxy.My stuff are SBs. I like to screen the holes in the valley and leave the center open. I'm still a big fan of magnets especially in the head area. I still use lash caps and the magnets have saved the day more than once.Lost a few p. rods but not into the lower crankcase.

do you JB the magnets in the head also...

yes just be sure everything is cleaned w/ laquer thinner
