Who's got a parts book?? Switching from 904 to BB 727, what parts will not interchange? What parts are reusable from the 904 setup?

IIRC it is a direct swap.

only help i can offer is when i swapped a 727 into a 73 a body that originally had a 904 i re used everything but had to shorten the shaft that goes from the frame to the trans

Here are some scans from a 1972 parts manual. Based on what I'm reading, all of the linkage is the same between small block and big block, except for the lever right at the transmission, 21-142-18. The lever is different between a 904 and a 727.

Thanks Mike , Bob is on vacation , up your way actually in montreal with the family. I was hoping that was the only different part , I'm pretty sure I have one otherwise it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

19-48-46 is also different , that one I expected to be different as it's the one that bolts to the bellhousing , 2 parts to find .
