Anybody know what that has for a gear set?

I think the axle housing has 810 on it in stenciled yellow paint as well.

It come from what I can remember a 68-70 Polara wagon

Thanks

Is that stenciled under the lower web on the side opposite the fill plug? If so, it is the assembly date. The ratio code is a series of square paint spots under the pinion. Usually in white. If it was a Sure-Grip, it will also have an orange spot with them near the mounting flange and one around the fill plug.

I used to have the chart, but I would have to look to see if I could find it. The stenciled date is usually easier to read than the ratio code.

Master, again and still

IIRC it was opposite the fill plug

A friend had this pulled and asked, I was too lazy to check it by hand.

If I can get the other info I;ll post it.

Thanks
