The ratio code is a series of square paint spots under the pinion. Usually in white. If it was a Sure-Grip, it will also have an orange spot with them near the mounting flange and one around the fill plug. I used to have the chart, but I would have to look to see if I could find it. The stenciled date is usually easier to read than the ratio code. Master, again and still
