If you say you now have the earlier Saginaw, you should be fine,...there was a post a few weeks ago when a member put a late model Saginaw on his small block motor using the ealier brackets, the pulley was about 1 inch forward of the engine pulleys,...not because of the pulley, but the pump snout/shaft was longer
PS,...I've always found aftermarket chrome pulleys a pain in the [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] to match up correctly,..thers's ALLWAYS one or 2 that don't align, no matter what you shim

....I just find a set of factory ones that run together nicely, then have them chromed,...unless your doing billet pulleys?
