I do race some.

No where have I read that anyone is successfully using one of these. They are old school. If you need more traction investigate a set of Cal-tracks, and or putting more stickier rubber on.

if you dont want to modify your suspension(ss-springs)get an oem one,i just got an adjustible for my 8-3/4" and in its lowest setting its sky high,i dont think i can even get it in.its the modell with a pin going through it.ive read that others have had problems with them being so tall to, and that maybe the newer screw-down modell might be able to set lower.

They do help if your springs are wimpy or marginal, to keep the axle from rotating too much while running sticky tires or slicks.
