I have a older bg carb that was on my buddy's circle track car for two races then went back to gas. Its an 830 with removable sleaves set up for circle track racing on alcohol. What modifications needed to change it to drag race setup?

shouldn't need much perhaps some rear jet extensions.

not 100% sure but I believe that those carbs have both front and rear power valves. I would remove the rear power valve. The other thing to look at is this carb or most circle track carbs usualy only have 30cc accelerator pumps, if you are foot braking this carb you would probably want to switch to 50cc pumps front and rear. and as stated in the previous post add jet extensions to the rear.
