Nice work! I recall someone telling me about a Mopar manifold on a SBC in the Michigan area. I think Uratchko built the motor.

Thats pretty cool. I don't even want to know how much it costs to do that. But i do hope he is paying you well.
What was the reason for doing this though? I was pretty sure you could get similar intakes for a SBC.

Don't quote me please, but I believe this is a common converstion that BES do on some SBC engines aswell. Those 420 intakes are reported to be a great design, hence why they are being re-made.

Big cube the guy you heard about is butch kemp.he runs in the 10.5 tire class at milan he has a sbc with a 420 intake I believe it is 3100lbs and runs 8.40-8.50s last time I seen it.he also runs in the nmca in pro stock class.even the chevy guys have seen the light!!!!!!

I have a regular 598 also, I'll try to get both of them in 1 shot to see the differance

Funny cause back in the day when a friend of mine was running in GT/KA with his Daytona they were fitting chevy intakes on the 318 because of the lack of good Mopar intakes. Looks like it has taken a different turn since those days.

I know, at one time I had some spacers to use a Chevy Bowtie intake to a Mopar
