My throttle cable on my 73 duster 340 is getting kind of worn, so I need to replace it. Is anyone making these? I see Year One has them for $125. seems a little on the pricy side.seems like there should be someone else makin gthese.
thanks,

I did too couple years ago, it broke the first day I drove the car. This one was very cheap compared to the original. The little lead ball on the end pulled off, which is smaller than original. I crimped a lead fishing weight back on the cable, but I didn't trust it and didn't use it. Sorry Mike, but it's the truth.

Bought one from Mega parts at Carlise last year for my Duster. It did the same thing on my maiden voyage about a mile from my house.

I stood there for a second when it happened to me and thought, how in the heck am I gonna get it home? Then it occured to me, I just turned up the idle so I could get it home. Weird driving with no gas petal. I hope you did the same.

Did the same thing, creeped home in first gear. Got a JY one on there now no problems since.
