I can get a Crossfire cheap. It was stolen and striped of it's eng/trans. seats and more. It is a roller and all of the sheet metal is there. What do you think?

Don't shoot me for saying this or let it stop you from doing what you want, but from a value retention stand point, the older iron holds its value better. Maybe a little more up front, but you should get most of it back out......

Honestly................
You can spend a lot of money making that car what you want and in the end you will have what you want.
That's the problem, not many others would want it.
If you want to race it and love it for a long time then go for it!

Not the archtypical drag car. Tubbed Pacer comes to mind. Maybe my dealership experience with those cars is clouding my judgment a touch... I would pass.

if it tickles your fancy then do it,,,one of those would definately be different.

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

Gospel , Mike.
The day I hear a story of someone who built a race car , campaigned it for a spell , then sold it at a profit is the day I start looking for the Spanish gentleman and the dwarf who wear matching suits.
I think it would be cool.
Just hot rodding one would be unique.........making an all out drag car ? Too too much.

Just the simple fact that we race Mopars makes us "odd balls". You're over half way there! Do it.

And most of us wouldn't know how to act not having to deal with rust.

When it comes to cars, listen to your heart. If you have the gut feeling, go for it. There is no harm trying. Of course, this will make a good race car.

I'd stay away. I heard that in every Crossfire there is a little Celine Dion. No good could come of that.
