Are there any recommendations on how often or how many miles a trailer should go before checking and re-packing car trailer wheel bearings? We have a trailer that is about 9 years old with about 20k miles and I have never done anything with the wheel bearings. The spindles have a grease fitting but I have never used it, do they do any good? I took one hub off and evrything looks good, some of the grease is black but you can still see some blue grease as well. How often do you service these bearings?
Also I posted in the race section instead of the general since most racers have trailers.

It's kinda like when is the best time to plant a tree? yesterday. When is the next best time to plant a tree? today.
If you haven't already done it, do it now.
Not many things will ruin a good day racing quicker than a broke down trailer or truck.
