Hey Guys
Which mechanical fuel pump is the best for a 440? I'm just not ready to go full electric yet?

The re-buildable holleys are nice. I have an elec. pump, filter and regulator in the "parts for sale" section...........$150.00 I think it`s WAY better than mechanicals but you do what you gotta do.

The Holley is a great pump.We have them on 3 motors.Mine feeds my 1050 Dominator and never runs out of fuel.We used to run Carters till we had 4 bad ones new.3 BBs and 1 SB.The SB wouldnt even pump right out of the box.Rocky

i've had a carter mechanical strip pump with a holley regulator on my turd forever. it's a 10 second bigblock a body, and this pump is the first i never had any problems with. the others were all electric. this thing has NO problem keeping up with 600 hp. i couldn't tell you where the upper end is, as i am nowhere close to it. 6 psi at launch, 6 psi at the big end. simple.
for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?
