Just checking again since I'm selling a car and don't want to mislead anyone getting it.

I believe I have read on here several times that the 94-99 3.5L is a non-interference motor
So when the timing belt lets loose everything lives and you just need to put on a new belt & Tensioner.

Can someone please verify that I am remembering this correctly.
3.5L in a LH car build Date 6/94
This motor to be specific

Thanks

It's a dry heat
when it comes to 3.5 V6's
aluminum intake = non-interference engine
plastic intake = interference engine

Just tell them to replace the belt before it breaks
It actually is not too hard, I replaced the belt and waterpump on my '97 concord 3.5L when it hit 120,000 miles. The old belt still looked to be in decent condition, but I did not want any problems with it because usually when something brakes, it happens at the worst time, like 100 miles from nowhere.. that is where my fuel pump went out

They sell more belts with that storey.

Broke the belt on my 94 LHS. No vavles were bent.

BTW, it's the water pump seizing up that broke my belt.
