I run the summit brand cheapie headers on my 74 satellite. I've got a 440 in there with the schumacher conversion mounts. My car was originally a 318 car. The summit headers fit pretty decent. I had to ding them in 3 places, very small dings. One tube rubbed up against the passenger side inner fender, which as you may or may not know on a 73-74 B body is tighter on a factory small block car than a big block car. Driver side fit good, all I had to do was put two small dings for the tubes to clear the power steering box. These were small dings to clear, I didn't have to completely mash the tubes or anything like that. I used a junkyard mini-starter off a mid 90's ram van and had no clearance issues associated with the starter. I forgot to install the starter before bolting the headers on but luckily I was able to weasel the starter through the header tubes and bolt it on without unbolting the headers.
