Hows that?..Woo-hoo!

Left Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.574/210.28, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.600/208.81, Was #9
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.545/210.77, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.615/209.14, Was #12

Edwards with a good pass, but I'm not thinking he will be happy with this one as he gets into the top half of the show. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.751, 660ft-4.228/166.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.501. Johnson launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Johnson sets both end of the track record here. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.732, 660ft-4.205/167.18 mph, 1,000ft-5.475.

Nice work! I still call the place Sears Point, old & stubborn I guess.
Trickier place than most folks give it credit for: surface can fluctuate (sun & temp) & wind, which changes direction and can get pretty stiff head-on or from the left, especially after you pass the new grandstands. Fair amount of time with good air in the mornings & evenings, though.

But he's working on dialing in carbon fiber wheelie bars. When he gets them figured out he's gonna fly! (So he says anyway)

I don't undestand why some of you guys have it out for Larry Morgan. He's as nice a guy as you will ever meet and gave us all a lot to cheer about for many years.

Chrysler Corp. was falling apart faster the the Titanic, and Ford made him a nice offer to take on a brand new high dollar, high effort Pro Stock program.

You wouldn't leave your failing employer for a much better offer to continue doing what you love doing?

I know Larry on a personal level. He is a genuinly great guy.

Does it suck he is in a blue oval, yes.

Do i blame him, NO! That is how he makes a living.

There is no loyalty when it comes to paying your bills and taking care of your family.

I bleed MOPAR, but if someone payed me alot of money to race a brand X, I would do it right now.

And i would buy a bunch of MOPARS with the money they gave me.

For me it has nothing to do with him switching brands. He's done that forever. That's just business, no big deal.

It's more the fact that when he's not running good it's always somebody else's fault, or he's just around the corner from the big breakthrough. He couldn't do squat with a Mopar until he hired Glidden and then was fast until that technology was outdated.

He may be the greatest guy in the world, but I am not on his Christmas card list.

GO AJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
