I got a 2000 Neon as my commuter, well it developed a real inconvenient problem, with the A/C going it causes the wipers to activate, well its moved on to the wipers randomly cycling. Would it the A/C switch on the fritz or is it the headlight switch?

Thanks guys

Bad grounds will cause a multitude of issues. I'd check at the bottom of the column where wire come out. You just might have something rubbed bare. Odd that it makes the wipers run.

Also, trace back from the compressor to see, again, if there's something making contact. Start w/the easy things first. Might even be something behind the fuse block doing this.

Interesting, todays cars run a lot of the functions thru the computer. Not 100% sure in the case of a 2000 Neon, but for some reason manufacturers decided having everything go thru the computer is a "good thing".

Hmm, dug into my Neon FSM, 2004 model, seems the wipers are self contained, IOW no computer involved there. Only thing I can figure is there is a short somewhere causing the wiper's to activate when the AC is on.

Don't be the exception.
