i bought it pre tinted. there's many levels of tint, mine is quite light but it always looks darker in photo's.

Has anyone ever weighed a full set of glass compared to a set of lexan windows? I will never own lexan again, I just don't think it's worth the hassle, door windows can't roll down, windshield bows in if the lexan isn't thick enough, door windows bow out at speed, pain to keep clean and polished, and my worst problem with it was how easily it seemed to fog over when racing at night time. And this was with the good Marguard stuff. My current 69 Dart has all factory glass and it is sooooo much better 'imo'.

It's been a while but I think I saved well over 50 lbs going to lexan. Got rid of the window regulators, tracks, etc which helped. My driver window was set up like the old SS cars so it would go up and down using a strap (seatbelt). The fogging was definitely an issue running late at night but Rain=X helped with that. Also use liteweight aluminum tube in center of windshield although I was only running 123 or so so it didn't bow too badly.
Old, tired, and sometimes broke down. Me, not my car...

I just don't think it's worth the 50 pounds and it usually doesn't look good. But if you do go with lexan get the good stuff, most of the time when you change your dial in the staging lanes you don't have time to clean the windows so even your shoe polish or Geddex Dial-in can rub dirt into the windows. I wish I would have tried the rainX on my last car cuz the late night fogging was really annoying.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I was looking at an ad on ebay item number 320561474223 I'm considering lexon glass for my Duster and it looks like the guy is in Michigan too
woooo thats a lot of coin for those windows. i know he's done the hard work & cut everything to size but thats not too hard of a job. i paid $400(280usd) of our $ for enough tinted lexon to do my whole car. a couple of hours & i had everything cut with a jigsaw. just tidy up the edges with a sander & it's as good as.

Yep! What Bob said! I would never do it again. And for 50#? (.05 ET gain??) I'd rather have the windows roll down, have the low maintance and have "stock" appearance.
But if you MUST, get the best stuff you can buy: Lexan Mar Guard, and I believe even preformed from Pro-Glass.
