I saw here a few members using his diaper and decided to give one a try.

It fits ok but I was very surprised to see that it has those cheesy plastic catches like on a travel bag. I don't think with the heat in that area they will survive any length of time? I think a simple metal D ring like a helmet uses would be a more secure method. The plastic ones on mine are getting changed before I install it. I for one would not object to spending a few dollars more for it having D rings and some type material to cover the straps and protect them from the heat.
Now after seeing one in my hands for the first time the 158.00 price doesn't seem cheap at all even with a custom fit once you notice the material is nothing more than light weight canvas with nylon straps and plastic catches.
NOT MY DIAPER IN THIS PICTURE BUT IT'S THE SAME THING

I am on my second season with a RusslerI diaper and have had no issues with the clips, but I run fenderwell headers and the clips don't get to close to the heat of the header. I sent Russler my pan and had him make me a nice snug fit custom diaper and he didn't even charge me any extra, for me it was a very good deal. Glenn(wyoming) has been running one also, maybe he will chime in on how his has worked.

he did a good job and used my measurements but the plastic catches have no place on something like this and even less when there's no extra cost involved like D rings or another means of adjustment. I will cover the straps with something to protect them from heat

My clips are still working, no issues with those yet, need to send mine back though, I wore a hole in the bottom, barely scraped the pan on a bigger wheelie, stuff isn't asphalt proof. Hey dave, you doing any racing? been to Grand Junction any? or just grinding away at work?

Hi Glenn, how you been? I haven't made it to Grand Junction yet or RMR, but I am headed to RMR today to try racing in the 100 degree weather . Hope to get to see you there.
